Sneak Peak of.... CURSED

Jen has revealed the first 3 chapters of her upcoming standalone novel, Cursed.

The Book Proofs have arrived at Spencer Hill Press and I for one am so excited for this book.
Cursed is the first JLA book I ever heard of and added it to my TBR list before I ever heard of or read Half-Blood or Obsidian.

I feel so blessed to be on the ARC list for Cursed. I seriously cannot wait but I will not be reading the first 3 chapters as it will just make me more impatient.

To see the first 3 chapters, visit Jen's blog HERE.

Teaser from 'Sekrit' project

Jen is such a tease!
We all know that but this is an amazing teaser and it's from a 'sekrit' project.
*Jen posted this on her blog.

“Would you like a drink?” he asked, heading toward the cabinet near the fridge.
            “Yes. Please.”
Hunter glanced at me. “You look surprised.”
“You don’t seem like the type who does gentlemanly things like that.” Or civil things, but I figured I shouldn’t tack that on.
His lips twitched. “I’ve been known to surprise myself every once in awhile. Turning back to the cabinet, he grabbed two glasses. “I have soda, milk, water—”
            “Milk? I’m not ten.”
He turned around, eyes glimmering in the light. “And how old are you? Nineteen?”
Offended, I leaned back on the stool. “I’m twenty-two.”
“Hmm…” He put the glasses back and picked up two wine flutes.
My eyes narrowed. “Didn’t they give you like a basic file on me or something?”
“Yes.” Hunter swiped a wine bottle out of its rack.
Staring at the back of his broad shoulders, I pictured a spider monkey landing on him and biting his neck, total vampire style. Actually, maybe zombie style. That would do more damage. “Have you’ve read it?”
Hunter spun around and crossed the distance to the island. He placed a glass of dark wine in front of me. “I have.”
My skin felt tight. That’s how irritated I was getting. “Then if you’ve read even the basics, you would know I’m not nineteen.”
Leaning his elbows on the table, he took a sip of his wine. “Most likely.”
“So you asked if I was nineteen to annoy me?”
“Quite possibly,” he murmured, watching me over the rim of his glass.
A sharp tingle was spreading across the back of my skull, spreading like a heatstroke. “You’re an ass.”
“And you have a potty mouth.” Hunter flashed a quick grin.
I took a deep, calming breath as he finished off his wine in one gulp. I hadn’t even touched mine. “Should you be drinking while you’re working?”
“Should you be asking so many questions?”
“Shouldn’t you have at least put a shirt on by now?” I snapped back. “Adding that to the whole drinking thing, you’re really inappropriate.”
Hunter chuckled, and the sound, oh wow, the sound of his amused laugh sent a shiver down my legs. “You haven’t seen inappropriate, pet.”
            “Don’t call me that.”
He prowled around the island. He didn’t walk—oh, no—the graceful movements of his denim clad thighs reminded me more of a great lion stalking its prey than how a human walked. My breath stalled out as he sat beside me, spreading his thighs wide so that one brushed my own leg.
“Do you have a thing against pet names?” he asked.
“Ha. Ha.” Gripping the stool, I scooted away. The metal legs made this horrible scratching sound. I hope I ruined his tile. “What did you want to talk about?”
Hunter inched his stool toward mine, taking back the distance. Even sitting down, he was a good head or two taller, so when he bent over, his face was right in mine. “You.”
My throat dried. “You’re in my personal space.”
“You’re in my home therefore that cancels out your personal space.”
            “Your logic is faulty.”
He cocked his head to the side, lashes lowering. “My logic is the only logic around here. You need to get used to that.”
And he needed to get used to blunt objects being thrown at his head, because it was about to happen again.

So I am dying to know what this is from.
I love her teasers and next I'm hoping for a teaser from Unchained. Okay Jen? I want more of Unchained.
Though this has got me super excited!

Am I the only one thinking this sounds like a very Daemon/Kat type relationship? That's really what I felt while reading that.

What do you think?

Cover Reveal: Elixir (Covenant #3.5)

Yes you heard right.
The cover of Elixir, the novella that comes after Deity has been revealed.
This was an exclusive reveal for Deity Island, the official Covenant fansite. Visit it here.

So without further adieu
The Elixir cover............

Aiden St. Delphi will do anything to save Alex.
Even if it means doing the one thing he will never forgive himself for.
Even if it means making war against the gods.

Okay so all I can say is Oh. My. God!
Isn't it stunning?
I love this cover and it makes me squeal a little.
I can't wait for Deity, but I equally can't wait for Elixir because it's told from Aiden's pov and I just can't wait to read something from his perspective.

So what do you think?

So are you ready?

Isn't it beautiful?

Official Blurb:

Between the pissed off creatures that want demon-hunter Lily Marks dead and the fallen angel who just...wants her, Lily is about ready to trade in forever for a comfy job in a cubicle farm.

The fact that she and Julian are civil to one another is enough to have her thrown out of the Sanctuary, but she can't shake her not-so-angelic stalker or how he brings her dangerously close to ecstasy.

Her forbidden relationship with Julian provides the perfect fuel for suspicion when a traitor is discovered to be working within the Sanctuary. Lily quickly finds herself hunted by well, everyone.

Her only hope is to discover the real traitor before she loses everything--and she'll need Julian's help. That is, if Julian is really there to help her...and not destroy her.

Yeah, being a Nephilim isn't everything it's cracked up to be.

So... are you excited?

Welcome To The Jennifer L Armentrout Fan Site

Welcome.
In the past few weeks I have seen new fansites dedicated to the Covenant and Lux series by the amazing Jennifer L Armentrout. Jennifer is my favourite author of all time and I have read every book she has published so far, both Young-Adult and Adult so really thought there should be a fan-site dedicated to all of her books.
Join my Jennifer L Armentrout Goodreads group here!

The first book that I read from Jennifer was Obsidian. I received it for review from Entangled Publishing in October 2011 and read it in one sitting. I absolutely adored it and could not put it down. Within a week of finishing Obsidian I had bought and read Daimon and Half-Blood from her incredible Covenant series. From then there was no turning back! I have been obsessed with her books and have read all books in the Covenant series (Daimon, Half-Blood and Pure) and all of the books so far in her Lux series (Shadows, Obsidian and Onyx) and I am insanely excited for her upcoming books in both series. Recently I picked up Jennifer's first Adult book, Tempting The Best Man and fell in love with that too. She is officially my favourite author and every book of hers I read makes me fall even more in love with her books. Her writing hooks you straight away and her books are unputdownable. I am so excited for her future books and I would recommend them to everyone. I don't even know what the books are about as long as Jennifer writes them, I will read them, and I know I will love them! Jennifer is one of the only authors who can have me laughing one minute and crying completely heartbroken the next! I love Jennifer. She is my all time favourite author and I know that she always will be!

To show all the love everyone has for Jennifer we have a few fans writing some messages of why they love Jennifer and her amazing books.

Melanie (Guest Blogger at Book Passion For Life)

It started with Daimon, the prequel to Half-Blood and I was hooked. I was so glad I had waited until I had Half-Blood to read straight away before I even started because the wait would have been torturous. I just knew after Daimon that I was reading something special, it left me wanting more and when I had read Half-Blood. . . well let's put it this way, I now own every book Jennifer has published and will continue to add to that collection because her books have never let me down. Whether it's The Covenant series, The Lux series or her latest offering Tempting The Best Man as J. Lynn - I have not been as excited about an authors' work as I am with Jennifer's in a long time and all of her books are on my must have TBR list. So thank you, Miss Armentrout, for Alex and Aidens' forbidden love and my first love/hate relationship with a main character in Daemon and his frustrating relationship with Katy - I love it all and keep doing what you're do because I know I will be loving that too.

Taneesha (A Diary of a Book Addict)

When I was asked if I wanted to say something about Jen I started jumping in my seat at work. Then I said oh man, what can I say about Jen in a paragraph? So here goes the condensed version of my first three drafts. Tehehehe Jen I would just like to thank you for taking me on so many vacations of a lifetime.  I have really enjoyed the forbidden love of sexy Aiden and beautiful Alex and of course sir HAWTNESS Seth. You have constructed a world where status is everything and being a half-blood means you are nothing.

Then you brought us snarky Daemon and witty Katy! Lord have mercy do I love me some Daemon and his rawness and his fierce love for his sister Dee. Poor Daemon didn't know what hit him when Kety moved to town! Bawhahaha so now he is trying to be nice but it just is not working out well for him and Katy because the more mojo he exposes her to the more time he will have to spend with her. Love sucks Kitten. =)

I also want to thank you for your adult book Tempting The Best Man! I am so excited about it and I cannot wait to read it. You have a talent like no other and you are the next J. K Rowling so get ready for fans to start screaming your name and chasing you down the street yelling DAEMON INVASION!!!!!!!

Tara (Tater's Tall Tales)

When I first read Obsidian, I don't know what happened to me. I was in a magical time in my life; it was the time I discovered contemporary romance novels. And I know Obsidian isn't a true contemp book, but it has STRONG romance in it. So I read Obsidian, and read all about Daemon, and oh hot damn! I was BLOWN away. I know I keep saying that, but Jen and her characters are a force of nature to be reckoned with. Her writing is so unique and original. I just fall all over the place when I read her books. Her heroines are always snarky and strong and her boys are just swoon worthy and complete pantie droppers! I will read anything she writes and follow her wherever she goes. I love Jennifer and I love all her books and she is an author that is so down to earth and really liked to connect with her fans. She is a diamond among coal that is bright and brilliant. And before I become my own Jennifer novel, I will leave you with my spectrum of emotion that Jennifer elicits from me!

The full spectrum of emotions that you will experience when reading a Jennifer book:
1. Fall in love with the hottie!
2. Relate to the girl and fall in love with her when she says something snarky.
3. Swoon all over the place with their first encounter.
4. Resist the urge to crumple up my eReader when they do stupid things!
5. Swoon even harder all over the place with their first kiss.
6. Have to take some Valium because of the action.
7. Cry uncontrollably at the end.

Julie (Bookaroo-Ju)

I don't think I've ever got suckered in by an author so fast and so furiously as I have Jennifer L Armentrout. If Carling made YA novels? They'd probably make them just like hers.
